Resetting the Phone Message to say : "Hello, you have called STC. If you're an asshole, please reconsider the reason for your call. And Please, no Name Calling of our Sales Attendants. They work pretty damn hard for you assholes, so just fucking be nice. If you'd like to talk to one of these diligent and helpful attendants... well you can't. Because you're not good enough. Goodbye."
Passive Aggressive and would probably shut us down, but something needs to be done.
Today, 10:37am:
Woman: I want to be taken off the mailing list. (No please, no thank you, no hello)
Me: Ok, what's your last name?
Woman: Asshole. A-S-S-H-O-L-E. (Name changed because what's the point?)
Me: Ok, that was A-S-S-H-O-L-E?
Woman: Yes.
Me: Alright, I'm not seeing you in our system, was the mailing addressed to you?
Woman: YES. I'm LOOKING at it.
Me: Ok, have you bought tickets to anything here recently?
Woman: No, that's why I'm CALLING because it's a WASTE of PAPER that has NOTHING to do with ME.
Me: Ok, well I'm not see-
Woman: And if you're IMPLYING that I'm STUPID and don't have this FLIER right in front of my FACE then FUCK YOU -click-
Why do I always get cursed at?! I was doing fine, too. I was even trying to be friendly.
I had a really good day yesterday, I even figured I could make it through July if I HAD to. But I'm not being paid enough to take that kind of abuse. Especially not if it's regularly.
