I was going to post about Detroit:

But first:
STC Office.

Around 3pm yesterday we lost the ticketing program. That's normal. Then the phones went. Still pretty normal, unfortunately.

Then we lost internet.

We could not leave. We had to stay! With no ability to do the work, or the means, and no internets for entertainment!

We had to resort to primitive entertainment: Conversation and iPods.

Here's what we talked about/did:
Erica spun on a chair to practice spotting (which was witnessed by a patron)
We discussed the economic value of opening a supply store for Stalkers. There would be an Effigy Department, Occular Devices Department, Trick's 'n' Tips for collecting body matter from your "loved one."
Animal Cannibalism: did you know that kibble is made from such materials as euthanized cats and dogs and horse parts? Yeah. You learn.
Sonia believes this building is located on an Indian Burial Ground.
Sonia is now America's Next Top Model (a high schooler came in to take Sonia's picture on the phone. Why? We don't know, but now Sonia's FAMOUS!)
The Ramifications of Cabin Fever (who would we eat first? Laura Ann claimed she would eat all of the Hershey's Kisses first. I told her she would then have a chocolate center.)
High School Girls Who Wear Miniskirts And The Pick Their Wedgies In Front Of The Box Office.
We did the wave.
Erica entertained us with interpretive dances to Pirates of the Carribean and Queen.
Zac and I re-created a fight sequence from Caesar using umbrellas as swords and an empty Hershey's bag as a Helmet (I had foil in my hair later).
We discussed why people try to metro or drive here just to save the $2.50 handling fee per ticket. If you're getting 10 or more tickets, it's worth it! But then you're doing a group sale anyway, so...

More happened that is less interesting now. I mean, we made a LIST that's how boring it was for the 3 hours we didn't have anything but each other.
