Mental Note

Out of the 6 Theatres I am now VERY interested in working for,

1 won't be auditioning until next Spring (so I have to wait on that letter or look like a spaz)
1 is indefinitely dark
2 are sort of inclusive and I should just stay in the loop (email listserves ahoy!)

and I don't even know how to begin to approach the other 2 because I'm nervous and shy and incredibly self-depricating sometimes.

I saw that one show you did that one time and I totally loved it, I really thought your show captured this essential part of theatre and I've seleceted YOU out of the bajillion theatres in DC to offer myself as an actor for auditions! Don't you feel special?! You should, because I am some sweet talent wrapped in your standard short brunette! Don't let the shortness of my resume fool you, I'm truly awesome. So remember me when your auditions come around, and I promise you won't be sorry!

right? no - and that's how I feel all of my attempts have sounded for the past 2 weeks. And I don't know how they all run auditions (like if it's invite-only, open call, not-a-friend need not-apply)
