I have a lot of dem.
1) I've been thinking lately - how can I incorporate my fascination for fiction based on Shakespeare into a suggested lesson plan? I don't need to do this for work or anything, but it's something I'm thinking about and want to hone in on as a teaching tool. I do realize that relating Shakespeare to modern novels and modern time is more important, but I love the emotional and cultural richness of a lot of these novels. The Reader emotes with the characters in these plots, and can see the nuances of sub-plots (very often the novels ARE subplots) by seeing the characters from a different perspective and discussing their motives. [pant pant pant] Yeah, I want to figure this one out - I think there's something in it.
2) I'm going to DETROIT tonight!!! I got to work, saw that I had forgotten that I have tomorrow off, and went straight to Expedia.com to look at flights. I did all the math for next month's income/projected expenses, conferred with Andrew about timing (how romantic), and Booked That Bitch! I'm very excited, and a very very very small part of me is apalled at my impulsiveness. Wheeee!
3) I love knowing I have HBO. I also hate knowing that I have HBO. There is always something on! Even if nothing's on, you can watch HBOle for about 10 minutes to laugh at how Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix sounds en espanol! Ah, movies.
4) Punch is going REALLY well! Audiences seem to love it!
5) I can't remember the other thoughts - other than that OREO-Cheesecake-Pie is delicious, and I'm not sorry that i ate one for dinner last Wednesday. (I was Recouping, ok!?)
