An Impulsive Adventure (that pays off for life!)

I'M ENGAGED! To ANDREW! YAY!!!

Here's how it went down:
My impulsive flight landed and he met me at the Terminal (apparently chickening out - later telling me that he thought I wanted a private proposal). We went to his car - I teased him the whole way about his new Winter-wear. In retrospect, he seemed jittery.
Once in the car he kissed me very forcefully (hey, we hadn't seen each other in 6 weeks!). He said, "I have a question to ask you,"
Now, he is VERY fond of teasing me, and ESPECIALLY fond of teasing me about us getting hitched. So I saw this a Bullshit. I gave him a sidelong glance, waiting for him to say, "did you remember to bring socks?"
"I hate being away from you," was what he actually said. "I know," I said, stupidly.
Then he reached into his pocket and produced this BEAUTIFUL ring (see Facebook for pictures) and said THE words: "Will You Marry Me?"
Somewhere in there the ring was on my finger, and I was kissing him, and we both teared up, and I must have said yes, so... YEAH! We're engaged!!!

A$: "WHOA!" (she also said YES to me! To be my maid of honor! YAY!!!)
Erica: "why? Oh, you said Engaged? I thought you said 'I'm great!'"
Becca: "awwwwwww"
Melissa: "are you getting a puppy?"
Mommom: "Wow, to Andrew? Wow!"
Dan Brinker (Andrew's boss in Detroit): "Hey, he's your problem now!"
Spencer (Andrew's little bro): "So does this mean I'm going to be an uncle?"

Thanks to everyone who sent us love so far, and for the love to come!!! I've been welcomed into his family, and he hasn't been shunned from mine!

Now, we won't set a date until we hear from Yale about his Masters Education - so don't ask! It's not tomorrow, and it's NOT in Vegas, Andrew...
