Man, I've been so angry lately that I TOTALLY forgot to update about Renn Faire!
I went!
On Sunday, Andrew and I woke up around 8, took care of the Berrys' cats, got coffeed drinks, and headed on out to Crownesville!!!
I didn't dress UP, per se, but I did wear my Renn shoes, my Renn Posie, and my peasant top from high school... which got uncomfortable after 20 minutes, so I had to buy a real peasant top from one of the Renn stores. It's Peach. And nice. So ok.
We walked around a lot, watched JOHNNY FOX: King of Swords (one of our faves), LONDON BROIL: Comedy and Juggling Together at Last (awesome, and new to us), two HACK AND SLASH shows (favorites!), Skum Macbeth in 20 minutes or less (20:01:58 actually), a Glassblowing demonstration, and the Joust of course.
Along the way we bought Turkey legs and Hunter Sandwiches, Cheesecake on a Stick, Blended Fruites, Fresh Tea for me, Honey Sticks, and other snacks I might be forgetting.
Andrew played Knife Tossing, Star Throwing, and Battle-Axe tossing.
We bought our family crests from Ireland (to frame in our living room), and catnip for Hermione.
After the joust, we came home! It was good. We hid the catnip right away, but there must have been some smell in my bag left because Hermione went bonkers all over it! And the Berrys' cats (when we went to their apartment to feed them) also took their turns loving my bag. It was pretty funny.
Ahhhh I love Ye Renne Faire. We're looking into going to Detroit a day early (together) so we can visit the one up there (reportedly BIGGER than MD, and apparently that weekend is CHOCOLATE WEEKEND! FREE CHOCOLATE!) So I'm all over that...

Hi,
Being from Ireland I read your post with interest and found it interesting. Have a look at our online shop for some fantastic "Family Crest Products".
