Actorine

'sup players?

I just did a week-long funtime with Rorschach Theatre called MYTHapp! Here's the gist:
Monday: everyone eats oreos and grapes with cheese and finds out their groups and gets a topic [ours: the Case of Clairvius Narcisse] this round's themes were inspired by the current season.
Tuesday: Workshop Read of the script the playwright wrote the night before.
Wed-Fri: Rehearse and tweak.
Sat: Tech in an hour.
Sun: Run and perform.

It was a blast - and I rediscovered my love for FunDip! Though my toungue has still not totally recovered from 3 days of munching on pure sugar...

Ours was one of the serious pieces, which was kinda odd as a lot of MYTHapps are funny. I mean the guys after us were posessed with Michael Jackson's soul! But... what can ya do? You can have fun with the show you're given and make the best of it. Which we did. Live burials and all.

Back to Longacre Lea where the scene change choreography has become very elaborate indeed! I'm glad I'm seeing this with fresh eyes - and I hope a lot of fresh eyes come see it starting next week!

Meanwhile, I'm alone at work, so I've been watching a Very Potter Musical and writing in http://drownmybooks.blogspot.com. I'm alone all week, so, you know... working...
