Professional Behavior

I have been pretty mean, lately, but this week I was productive. I made Google Spreadsheets for the whole season at my theatre, which will make everyone's life easier.

Will I be thanked? Appreciated? Lauded?

No.

I will be berated, chastised, and interrogated as to why these could get done (while I'm sitting at ANOTHER job, mind you) and not be calling each new subscriber or coming all the way to the theatre to enter new people.

Here's why: you didn't effing give me the letter until 3 weeks before the show we are currently running began! YOU waited until the last show closed to even send me a DRAFT and then allowed a 30-chain email to make minor corrections and DIDN'T SAVE A NEW DRAFT! THEN when the mailing wasn't to your liking, you martyred yourself AGAIN to do it yourself (though the only person who heard me complain when I had to do it by MYSELF was Andrew (and probably Melissa)). Now you think I have the time to call each and every new subscriber? HA! Yeah effing right.

For your information, I have been EMAILING them and am STILL trying to clean up the mess from the years and records before me. Which I don't see you correcting. Nope.

One more time: You better appreciate what you've got while you have it. I truly do love and appreciate the theatre, but I will not be treated like some 16 year old shithead who doesn't know what they're doing. I know what I am worth, and it is more than what you can offer if that's how you're going to treat me.

Grow up. Take responsibility for YOURSELF, and then, MAYBE we can talk again. Til then, consider us DONE.
