Thursday night Alie and I were hanging out. We decided to order pizza from Papa Johns online. It was quite simple, there was maybe one moment when we thought about calling, but we were fine with waiting. Hot Chocolate happened. And a two hour conversation/quote fest of The Office.
By the way, The Office is
an amazing show. In 2 weeks I am now all caught up with all 4 seasons. At least as much as I can be on Season 4 online. Now that the writer's strike is going on there aren't going to be any new episodes for awhile. I get a little too into the shows I like, though. My favorite character's happiness (see: Pam and Jim) becomes very important to me. I think this might be a side-effect of being an actor and seeing myself in all portrayed characters. I also find everyone on the show far too amusing, since I wind up quoting everything they say for days."If Pam and Jim aren't together by now I guess they never will be. It's too bad though cos they would be PERfect. Like PB&J.
I've also started reading creedthoughts, Creed's blog of disturbing and hilarious everyday ideas.
Anyway, we talked for about 2 hours and realized there was still no pizza in our hands. Alie pulled up the email-receipt and ticked off the order, yes Extra large, cheese, ham, diet coke... then we looked at the subject line: CARRYOUT. They were scheduled to close in 10 minutes. Thus began THE GREAT PIZZA ADVENTURE!
Now this PJ's is in Silver Spring, where, we did not know but that it was on a certain hwy West. We took the 16th and Georgia route to said hwy and turned left to get to 108 of that road. 2 blocks later we looked out the window and saw 3333 -- Hwy West. So we U. Now we have 31 blocks to go. We already called once to say we were on our way, we called again to reiterate and confirm the address. Of course it's located at Four Corners, which you have to be a left turn mastermind to enter ever at all. After a huge left, and another huge U we finally made it. Carlos gave us our pizza, we left thanking them, and laughing and laughing. Turns out the drive home was 5 minutes straight up Colesville. Whoo!
By the time we got back the boys were on their way, so we actually decided to watch a few episodes of The Office since we were there.
What a great night.

I am so impressed with your ability to quote from things you've seen. I always lose at that game. I can only quote from PURPLE RAIN and COLD COMFORT FARM.
I love Dwight and am so glad to know he has a blog.
Thanks for the linkage!
Well said.
